Those who know me well enough know that the Titanic to me is not an obsession. When one is trying to finish and publish a research dissertation on the topic, I'm pretty sure it is not an obsession (more like insanity for someone who is not even majoring in history!!). Admiration. Astonishment, more or less.

May the memory of the Titanic live on and thank you to those who ARE keeping the memory alive. Don't forget, those who will be at the centennial celebration in Southampton, make the effort to come by and say hello! I would love to meet another DA-Titanic-Lover.

Material: 24"x24" Canvas, felt, skeleton leaves, One badly written Titanic book, collage paper, ribbon, imprints, stamps, map, multi-coloured sharpie markers.

wow this look great :)I also try to do something on this year celebration but now it`s easter.. and I can`t find free time... Southampton it too far from here to go there.. maybe on 100 year celebration.. who knows

Thank you very much! I made this a long time ago, but never got the opportunity to post it! Since it is titanic week, I thought it is appropriate. I was actually talking about the celebration in 2012. I know Southampton is far! I'm moving to Scotland, even I think that is a long trip! Thank you again!

That is one therapy session I would never want to attend! It is Titanic week and you know how I am around this time, especially with that dissertation project I'm working on; MY GOODNESS I'M INSANE!! ILY2! XD Thank you, m'dear!

Wow, this is just beautiful. It really captures the humanity behind the history...and its indie-style patchy art is actually kind of cute! I love collages...they're so much fun to make! ^^ :thumbsup:
